Founder of YEG Dancer
Irina’s name has become synonymous with quality events that build and nurture connections through dance, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels.
Irina’s main roles are organizing, instructing, marketing, and DJing.
Kevin Trieu
Key Volunteer with YEG Dancer
Kevin is the volunteer that has been around since the inception of YEG Dancer, and has played a critical role in ensuring events run smoothly, even when Irina is away.
Kevin’s main roles are DJing, instructing, event operations, website managing, and has recently started organizing events too.
Want to Help or Join Our Team?
We always need volunteers to help run our bigger events on an ad-hoc basis, so look for the volunteer signup sheets that we link in event descriptions if you’d like to help with this.
Of course, we always need long-term committed volunteers for more involved roles too. We are also always looking for new talented dancers to develop into teaching assistants within our community and will provide training with a minimum commitment of six months.
